![]() I think I understand that I should select "custom" and make sure I do not install Office fonts. Anything else I should do to fix my machine back to the way it was. As for additional installed software I have these: VMFusion, Addium, NeoOfice, Handbrake, and a few others.ģ. Maybe I downloaded additional fonts at some point, though I do not remember doing as much. If you'd like to clear the font cache data without losing your Font Book settings, download OnyX. ![]() Does this look and sound right? What is the difference between "All Fonts" - "User" - and "Computer?" Also, I notice that I don't have the fonts that I had - or at least I don't think I do. It will also reset Font Book, so any custom font sets you've created will be gone, and all fonts in any of the various Fonts folders will be active, regardless of their state beforehand. Under Computer, I see a different list (e.g., Al Bayan, Arial Hebrew, etc.). ![]() Under All Fonts and User, I see the same list of fonts. Can anyone tell me the default size of window? I tried copying fonts from system/library/fonts back into the user/library/fonts which did not work AND I discovered that I do not have the fonts in the system/library/fonts that (I imagine) I had.ģ. I went to library/fonts folder and discovered I have nothing but an empty "microsoft" folder. After reading some forums, I learned of my font problem. Still ignorant of the problem, I tried to open a terminal window and only got a small box with a red dot. So that, under "All Fonts" there are no fonts and the same for user and computer. I went to Font Book and somehow managed to remove my fonts. After installing Office 08 on my machine, my fonts were messed up. Now I need to reinstall the fonts that were removed, but first Ill verify them to make. I did what is hardly pardonable - installing the m$oft I ran from on my Mac. In the Font Book app on your Mac, choose File > Restore Standard Fonts. ![]()
